Q: What changed once you raised the Series A?

The problems got more expensive to get wrong. At the garage stage, a bad decision costs you weeks. At scale, it costs you quarters and half your engineering team's trust.

Q: Any advice for founders in that jump?

Hire slower than you think you need to. We over-hired once trying to match investor expectations, and undoing that was harder than the original hiring push.
